Graduate of Central Michigan University (BS). Ted began his career in public accounting at PriceWaterhouseCoopers focusing on audit engagements with an emphasis on manufacturing clients. He then served as Corporate Controller for two suppliers to the automotive industry, Modern Engineering and DCT, Inc., where he played a significant role in acquisitions, divestitures, creation of international subsidiaries, development and implementation of enterprise systems, debt refinancing, and establishment of strategic business directions. Subsequently, Ted was hand-selected by an equity group to play the lead finance role on a team of professionals, raising nearly $38 million in combined equity and debt to purchase Xycom Automation, a leader in the Industrial PC market. Ted soon was promoted to the position of CEO of Xycom Automation where he dramatically improved stockholder value and successfully executed an exit strategy for the owners. For the past twenty years, Ted has been consulting the owners of highly leveraged and financially distressed companies for the purpose of identifying and executing operational and financial restructuring opportunities. Ted is an active member of the Michigan Association of CPAs, the American Institute of CPA’s, and the Financial Executives Institute.
